Always finding way to please you.

Every driver is put through a stringent training program before getting a truck.  This training focus on all aspects of safe and correct driving techniques as well as the specific requirements of individual clients. As driver fatigue is one of the most common causes of accidents, drivers are not allowed to travel between the hours of 23h00 and 05h00 and all drivers are forced to take sufficient breaks whilst on duty. Each driver must attend daily toolbox talks and a debriefing session where current matters are discussed and personal interaction between the drivers and management are encouraged.

Management, operations, and administration are centralised in our head office in Newcastle, KZN. Management and personnel are encouraged to participate in decision making and fresh innovative ideas are regularly forthcoming.

As effective communication with vehicles and staff is a vital component of every successful transport operation, Ni-Da Transport employs various means to achieve this. All the vehicles in the fleet are equipped with truck phones and each driver has a cellular phone to use when the vehicle is not in motion.

Drivers employed by the group are trained in every regard to the loading and offloading procedures of each of our clients. Safety, correct loading and offloading procedures, correct load securing and handling of consignment papers are all areas in which each driver is trained.

Ni-Da runs a 24-hour tracking/camera monitoring system with every truck in the fleet fitted with three on-board cameras. The system allows geofencing of all routes, including loading and off-loading points.  Trucks are PTO enabled meaning that our tippers cannot tip in any zone that is not demarcated as such.

Transport depots with key personnel are operating in Wadeville, Komatipoort, Durban, Middelburg, Richardsbay and Newcastle. Our group has also contracted several trucks stops on our main routes to ensure that drivers are well rested.

Ni-Da appoints route controllers on key routes to handle breakdowns and monitor driver behavior.  They also attend meetings with customers in an official capacity.
